On behalf of the Cyber Web and Games course, we all feel that as a union that we should be able to stay within our classrooms to socialise, work on our course, and to have somewhere to stay during these cold, harsh winter days. We feel it is extremely unfair to be punished for the actions of people on entirely different courses.

Honestly, this is Ridiculous. I was here last year when they announced these changes to classroom interaction during breaks and lunches when we returned in September 2020. I remember vividly signing documentation retaining to the promise of keeping our desks clean, the restriction of hot food near equipment and that any equipment damaged would be charged upon the student who broke them. And pretty much many kept to those rules, I and others were able to keep working during break if we wanted too, or were able to sit down, relax and interact with our peers in class and it meant the halls weren't so packed anymore. it overall made things less stressful, at least it did for me. now were in a new year with new students who don't know or sign these rules on classroom interaction, now a couple of clowns have disrupted things and consequently all students [new and old] are being punished now. now the halls are full of loudmouth students who scramble for a place on the sofa's or lay or sit on the floor, while the rest stand bored as others squeeze between the crowding's. You want the new Omicron variant to spread easily, that's how. This was a Foolish decision by Management.
