Dorset Rape Crisis Support Centre is a pan Dorset charity at present based in Poole near the town centre, but our vision is to eventually develop hubs throughout the county.
We began 24 years ago as East Dorset Rape Crisis Helpline run by women volunteers for women and girls who have been raped or sexually abused. In the 1990s we became Dorset Rape Crisis Line.

Men’s Advice Line is a confidential helpline for any man experiencing domestic violence and abuse from a partner (or ex-partner).
We are a team of skilled professionals offering practical advice, information and emotional support to male victims of domestic violence, as well as to concerned friends and family and frontline workers.
Our focus is to increase the safety of men experiencing domestic violence (and the safety of their children) and help them reduce the risk.

The Shores
The Shores is the dedicated Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) for Dorset, providing a comprehensive service to men, women and children who have been raped or sexually assaulted.
We offer a safe and non-judgmental environment which focuses on the needs of you, the individual. All clients are treated with dignity and respect.
We are contactable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
